First of all - happy 2022, y'all! I thought I would start the first post of the year off with a personal one - sharing my son's nursery. :)

Anyone that knows me knows I love interior design, so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to design a nursery after finding out I was pregnant. After scouring Pinterest and Instagram for lots of inspiration, I decided on a direction. Rather than a theme, I was more after a vibe or feeling that I wanted for the space. I wanted the room to feel calm, serene, and welcoming - a space that Hayes could grow into and that could evolve as his interests do.

I'm very into neutrals for interiors for the most part, but I wanted a bit of color in the room. I eventually decided on a calming greenish-blue shade for the accent wall. I am OBSESSED with wall paneling, so I convinced/roped my husband into DIYing it with me. It turned out to be a super fun project that we did together - and we felt so accomplished afterward! After adding acrylic shelving (filled with lots of books from sweet family and friends!), a faux olive tree, and some other special details, the space was complete. I had so much fun with this nursery design and hope Hayes loves it as he grows!

My sweet boy is now 2 months old! 🤍It fills my heart with such joy to see him in this space and to think of all the memories we will share here.
